2022 61st Annual SPA Age Group League Championships

Tournament Information: This is the culminating event for the Southern Pacific Zone Age Group league teams. Seeding for the different flights for each division will be done via Google forms input from the entered clubs based on league play, coaches' input, and by how each team has declared their own level when entering. Teams for each division will be  seeded and/or grouped and double blind drawn if necessary.

Hosts: SET and Irvine Youth Water Polo

Dates: Held over a single weekend, November 12, 13, 2022 will play all divisions: 10U COED, 12U COED, 12U BOYS, 12U GIRLS, 14U BOYS, 14U GIRLS and HS Girls divisions and flights in Orange County.

Rules: USA Water Polo playing rules and advancement procedures. 14U and 12U will play 6 minute quarters and the 10's will play 5 minute quarters. HS Girls will play 7 minute quarters. There will be a 30 second possession clock for all divisions. The 10's will play in a smaller course using a smaller ball.

Entry Fees: ($995 entry fee per non-10U team entered and $895 per team entered for each 10U team. NOTE, $25 of this amount the hosts will pay to the SOPAC Zone.

Age Determination is age as of midnight August 1st, 2023 for 10's and 12's, 14U or 8th Grade U is just that, and HS Girls is just that, maximum of 12th grade.

Girls may play within the boys' flights.

Deadlines: Entries must be completed by THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd, 2022. Payment for entries must be received by THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd, 2022 as well.
Schedules will be sent to the coaches only for proofing by Sunday, November 6, 2022. Schedules will be posted for the public by MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2022. If you intend to enter, please complete this online portion as soon as possible.

Rosters: All rosters must be verified using the USA Water Polo roster verification system. In addition, you must bring enough copies of your verified roster to hand one in to the score table before each of your games. You must also hand in a score sheet prior to each one of your games in addition to your verified roster.
